Amish Cinnamon Flop

1 cup sugar
2 cups plus 2 tbls. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbls. melted butter
1 cup milk
1/4 cup light brown sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
6 tbls. cold butter, cut into 1/4 inch cubes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 (9-inch round) pie pans. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, 2 cups flour and baking powder. Add the melted butter and milk; stir until well mixed. Divide between the 2 greased pans, spreading evenly. Sprinkle the tops with a tablespoon each of the remaining flour, sprinkle each with half the brown sugar and cinnamon. Divide the cubes of butter and push them into the tops of the cakes making holes. Bake about 30 minutes or until firm
